OnTask 2.0 Help

OnTask 2.0 (OT2) is a free software program designed to serve as an electronic workbook for "Your Own Worst Enemy:  Breaking the Habit of Adult Underachievement"  by Kenneth W. Christian, Ph.D. (YOWE).

OnTask 2.0 plays on all Windows platforms from Windows 2000 to Windows 7.  It plays on all versions of Mac OS/X and is Linux-ready.

You may have to close your default browser if it is open before you launch OnTask, which is browser-based software. When you view a video, it will open in new tab; then you return to tab where software is running to continue.

When you open OT2, you can ignore the login screen--you will be taken to the Daily Tasks page.  You can navigate from there to anywhere in the program using the Main Menu  at the top of the page.

If you leave an OT2 page open and inactive for an extended period of time, OT2 may become unresponsive.  Should this occur, click on the red Stunnix Avanced Web Server icon on your dock or desktop, and the words Stunnix Advanced Webserver will appear at the extreme left in the top bar of your computer screen.  Click there and a menu with four items will appear.   Click on and open either the one titled Stop & release media or the one titled Quit and you will be able once again to navigate the OT2.0.  Clicking on "Recall first screen" menu item will open new copy of OT2 to the Daily Actions landing page.

Pay special heed to all prompts concerning saving your data entries.  If you do not, you will lose data entered.  One major feature of OT2 is the ability to track your daily ratings over time—with graphic representations—and you do not want to lose data you have recorded.

Saving data also allows OT2 to automatically transfer it to other parts of OT2 to be available to work with later when needed for completing other Tasks—and without having to go back and find where you first recorded it.
